What is an Escape Room?

An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players are in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles to solve the mystery and "escape"  within a set time limit. The games are physical versions of "escape the room" video or board games.

Do you have to be really smart or need special training?

No, you do not need special training or have to be really smart. You just have to be persistent, alert, stay calm, and breathe.  Don't let the time ticking away panic you - tick tock, tick tock, tick tock........

How much time do we have to escape the room?

Our rooms allow 60 minutes for you and your teammates to solve the puzzles and "escape".

We do ask that guests arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled reservation time

to get a briefing  of your room scenario and  our rules.

Can I get more time than 60 minutes?

Unfortunately, we have to limit your time to 60 minutes so we have time to reset the room for another group.

So bring your brightest brains and beat the 60 minute time limit!

Are players really locked in a room?

Players are not physically locked in the rooms.

If you have an emergency or need to use our restroom, you may leave the room at any time during the room run.

Please note, the clock will not stop and your time will continue to tick away.

Is it scary?

Our rooms are not generally scary.  The rooms are designed to be a fun way to stimulate the brain as you face the challenges and puzzles presented in each room, and designed to be fun for guests of all ages.

That's why  Sleuth Escape Rooms  is perfect for players of all ages and group sizes.

How long will I be in the room?

You will have 60 minutes to solve the puzzle and escape out of your chosen room.  If you don't escape in 60 minutes, we will eventually let you out!  We ask guests to show up 15 minutes prior to your reservation time to get a quick briefing of your task and a rundown of ground rules.

When your group is finished, we have a photo opportunity for you to document your success or failure!

With your permission we will use these photos on our website and Facebook.

Are cell phones allowed in the room?

The use of cell phones is not permitted in our rooms

Reserving your room...

Our rooms are not recommended for children age 5 or younger, and participants under the age of 10.

For reasons of safety, as well as your enjoyment,  we do not recommend children age 5 and younger

We recommend participants be age 10 or older because of the skill level necessary to

solve the puzzles and manipulate the locks.
